It has been a while since my last post. This is due to some exciting news. After 15 years of working as a broker with Halstead Property, I recently moved to Town Residential, LLC. Town is a new and exciting company, and already a prominent player on the NYC real estate scene. With 5 offices located throughout Manhattan, and more on the horizon, Town's philosophy is one that comes with many tools to best service our clients.
One such tool is Luxury Attache - a high end concierge service- which is complimentary to those clients currently working with a Town Representative. I can certainly say that it has made not only my clients day to day lives much easier, but mine as well!
Reservations to the hottest New York restaurants, clubs, and hotels - as well as travel services, cleaning companies, personal trainers, and more - Luxury Attache has come through on many occasions.
Our on site concierge at the Astor Place office recently suggested Jimmy at the James hotel as a great place to stop after a diner out for some drinks. Jimmy's is a rooftop lounge with amazing views of the city from downtown. So many of NYC's rooftop bars are located in midtown that it was lovely to see the city from a different perspective.
The decor here is dark, and has a modern twist to a 70's vibe. The focal point is really the views which can be seen from all angles. The drinks are strong and of the masculine variety. ( I have found it hard to find one of my "girlie martini's" on the drink menu here, but luckily the bartender has been able to mix something up to my liking.) I have now been 3 times and never had an issue finding seating. The crowd is a nice mix and it truly is the perfect place to bring a date, or hang with a few friends .
